„When we started singing, we could not believe to go on the big stage. That were kitchen songs, sometimes sang on occasion, something like a song for a course friend birthday party, to prepare a program. But this took acceleration. At the beginning a few professional performers asked me to re-sing my songs and I would answer them: “Ok, no problem“. Now it happens, that someone says, that „The Blossom of Nuts“ is a song of „Vairas“. But it’s mine, they only sang first in public”, - says O. Ditkovskis.

He composed the music for the performance of S. Mieliauskaitė „A Girl With Matches“, also for musical performances „A Wizard of Oz“, „Three Little Pigs“, “The Princess And The Swineherd“.

O. Ditkovskis is concerned more about the melody of his songs than a text. The most of his songs O. Ditkovskis made by H. Radauskas, A. Jonynas, A.A. Jonynas, S. Geda, R. Danys, and S. Bareikis words.
