Ilona Papečkytė has started her musical career in Virgis Stakėnas‘ singing poetry studio in Šiauliai. After graduating art faculty of Šiauliai Pedagogical University she moved to Kaunas.

Ilona has two daughters – Elena and Maria, so many of her songs are dedicated to children and teenagers. She has done several musical theatre projects for children and grown up together with Kaunas Children’s and Youth Song Theatre and its actor Virgis Bortkevičius. This project successfully was shown in Germany. Presently Ilona works at new album “Lullabies”, teaches children who have mental disability of art and music.
