One of the most popular lithuanian singing poetry bands „Atika“ was founded in 1996, in Klaipėda. The biography of band, which core compound with Darius Žvirblis (guitar, vocal) and Audrius Šalnis (drums), is colorfoul: „Atika“ is popular in various festivals and concerts. In 2000 group won two main nominations in first respublical student song contest in Šiauliai, where contend with popular bands as „Laura & the Lovers“. „Atika“ won in one of the first TV shows „Be an artist“, and in 2000 became the best Christian group in Lithuania.  In 2004 and 2005 band had a great success in respublik singing poetry, bards and authorical songs contests. They say, that they mission – to find new aspects of  poetry means. They do not like to twaddle and shake their heads. And add: „Stop straching and listen, what we say“...

Band has recorded six albums. We are waiting for the newest albuma of „Atika“.
